Privacy Policy

Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored securely, hashed).

Gymnast & family information — gymnast names, levels, teams, and viewer profiles you create.

Content you add — meet scores, practice logs, goals, skills, uploaded routine videos and photos, and posts you make in ChalkTalk.

Purchase information — your subscription status and plan. Payments are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple (in-app purchase); we do not store your card details.

Usage & device information — how you interact with the app, plus standard device and log data used for analytics and reliability.

To provide and improve Flipside — syncing scores, tracking skills and practice, powering AI features, running the community, and personalizing your experience.

To process subscriptions, send service-related messages, respond to support requests, keep the app secure, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with service providers that help us run Flipside, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Supabase and Vercel — hosting, database, authentication, and storage
• Stripe and Apple — subscription payments
• Google Analytics and Sentry — usage analytics and error monitoring
• Resend — transactional email
• Anthropic and OpenAI — to power Flipside Coach and AI video analysis (your inputs are processed to generate responses and are not used to train their models under our agreements)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Flipside is designed for adults (parents and guardians) and gymnasts. Accounts are held by an adult or by a gymnast aged 13 or older; younger gymnasts should use Flipside only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who holds the account.

An account holder may add information about their gymnast, who may be a minor. By doing so, you confirm you have the right to provide that information and consent to its processing as described here. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement. A parent or guardian can review or delete their child's information at any time by contacting us.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or financial obligations.

You can access, correct, or delete your information from within the app. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. If you would rather we do it for you, contact hello@flipsidegym.ai.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data; contact us to exercise them.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
